Stored XSS via unencoded classification rule fields
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Stored XSS in GFI Archiver before 15.13 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through Classification Rules configuration fields. CategorizationPolicyWizard.SaveAllConfigSettings() stores the rule name and email criteria without output encoding. Viewing the Classification Rules page executes the stored payload in another user's browser, so exploitation requires configuration access and later user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
