Unauthenticated file upload via overapplied upload trait
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
Missing authorization in Filament 3.0.0 through 3.3.51, 4.0.0 through 4.11.4, and 5.0.0 through 5.6.4 allows remote attackers to upload files. Filament applies Livewire's WithFileUploads trait to every schema host, including authentication components whose schemas contain no file-upload field. An unauthenticated request to an exposed component can place arbitrary files in temporary storage, enabling disk exhaustion or increased storage costs.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
