Arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Path traversal in Adobe CAI Content Credentials allows context-dependent attackers to read arbitrary local files through crafted web content. Adobe has not disclosed the affected path-processing locus or the operation that fails to confine attacker-controlled paths. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a maliciously crafted URL or interact with a compromised web page, and the reported consequence is file disclosure without modification.
