Code execution via malicious file out-of-bounds write
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Lightroom Classic 15.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a victim opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser, memory operation, or malformed field that causes the out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs code with the victim's current-user privileges, exposing that user's files and application data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
