User-context code execution via untrusted search path
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Untrusted search path handling in Adobe Bridge 15.1.6 and earlier and 16.0.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. Adobe has not disclosed which executable lookup or library-loading operation searches an attacker-controlled location when a malicious file is opened. Exploitation requires a local victim to open the malicious file and runs code in the context of that user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=15.1.6
