Stack-based buffer overflow in Adobe DNG SDK 1.7.1 build 2536 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious DNG file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, function, or unchecked operation that overwrites the stack while processing the file. Exploitation requires a user to open the file in an application that incorporates the SDK, and resulting code runs in that user's context.
