Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe Acrobat Reader 24.001.30365 and earlier or 26.001.21651 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the bounds-checking operation that corrupts heap memory when processing the crafted file. Exploitation requires the victim to open a malicious file, after which code runs with the current user’s privileges.
