CVE-2026-48350

User-assisted code execution via path traversal

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Path traversal in Adobe Animate 2023 23.0.15 and earlier and 2024 24.0.13 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via malicious files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or unsafe pathname operation that escapes the intended directory restrictions. Opening a malicious file is required; successful exploitation runs code with the current user's privileges and can access files or directories outside the intended boundary.
