Unauthenticated file read and write via path traversal
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Path traversal in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.9 and 2023.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to read and write unauthorized files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected component or how it fails to constrain attacker-controlled pathnames to an authorized directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, but reported access is limited and does not include service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
