Unauthenticated file read via path traversal
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Path traversal in Adobe ColdFusion 2025.9 and 2023.20 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files over the network. Adobe has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or pathname-validation operation that fails to confine attacker-controlled paths. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation exposes sensitive files and permits limited file-system writes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
