Unauthenticated share access via faulty permission check
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Improper authentication in KodCloud KodBox 1.64 allows remote attackers to read password-protected shared content via network requests. The can function in app/controller/explorer/auth.class.php makes the faulty authorization decision, but the CNA and linked disclosure do not identify the manipulated input or failed password check. Exploitation requires a password-protected share and high-complexity request manipulation; the published impact is limited to confidentiality.
