HTTPS traffic disclosure via disabled certificate verification
Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Open ISES Tickets CAD before 3.44.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read outbound HTTPS traffic. Shared helpers in incs/functions.inc.php set CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER to false and omit CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST when issuing outbound HTTPS requests. Exploitation requires control of the network path to the remote endpoint and exposes request and response data, including API keys or session-bearing data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
