Data exposure via disabled TLS certificate verification
Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026
Improper certificate validation in Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read report lookup data. The ajax/reports.php cURL path disables peer verification and omits hostname verification when requesting Google Maps directions for incident reports. Network-path access is required, exposing outbound request and response data, including configured API keys, to monitoring.
