Authenticated script execution via unescaped hidden input
Published May 21, 2026 · Updated May 21, 2026
Reflected XSS in Open ISES Tickets before 3.44.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted request. In landb.php, the _type POST value is inserted without HTML attribute encoding into a hidden input value, allowing the value to break out of the attribute. A valid account and a victim who renders the crafted response are required; the injected script runs in that victim's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
