Authenticated data extraction via unquoted ORDER BY
Published Apr 17, 2026 · Updated Apr 17, 2026
Time-based blind SQL injection in MasterStudy LMS 3.7.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data via its REST API. The custom Query builder treats parenthesized order values as SQL functions and concatenates them unquoted into the ORDER BY clause after ineffective esc_sql escaping. Subscriber-level access is required; crafted order or orderby parameters expose database secrets through timing responses without reported data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
