Account enumeration via login-response timing
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
Observable timing discrepancy in Filament 4.0.0 through 4.11.4 and 5.0.0 through 5.6.4 allows remote attackers to enumerate accounts. Login::authenticate retrieved an account by email and performed costly password validation only when that lookup succeeded, making unknown-email failures faster. Repeated unauthenticated login attempts therefore disclose only whether a submitted email is registered; they do not expose credentials or account data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
