Authenticated SSRF via unprotected OAuth2 token fetch
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
SSRF in Budibase before 3.39.0 allows remote authenticated users with BUILDER access to read internal data through OAuth2 validation. The fetchToken path in packages/server/src/sdk/workspace/oauth2/utils.ts passes config.url to raw fetch instead of the IP-blocking fetchWithBlacklist wrapper. BUILDER access is required; exploitation exposes internal services, cloud metadata, and OAuth2 client credentials without reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
