CVE-2026-48141Network attack vector

Authenticated denial of service via unreleased stream memory

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

Memory leakage in BeginSidebandStream in NI gRPC Device Server 2.17.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to exhaust server memory. The endpoint retains allocated memory after its effective lifetime; NI has not disclosed the leaked object or exact triggering message sequence. Low-privileged network access and repeated, high-complexity calls are required, and the bounded consequence is server unavailability from memory exhaustion.
