Cross-domain Compliance metadata modification via unchecked domain authorization
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
Authorization bypass in Check Point Quantum Security Management allows remote authenticated users to alter another domain's Compliance metadata. The Compliance Best Practices metadata update path writes records associated with a target CMA without enforcing that domain's RBAC boundary. Compliance must be enabled, and exploitation requires an administrator with read-write access to one CMA; the bounded result is unauthorized modification of another CMA's stored metadata.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
