VPN service interruption via unchecked IKE length
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Check Point Quantum Security Gateway allows remote attackers to interrupt VPN service via malformed IKE NAT-T packets. IKE handling in the VPN process fails to validate a packet length before reading or processing memory beyond the intended boundary. Reachability requires IKE over NAT-T on UDP port 4500; a successful packet terminates and restarts VPN processing, temporarily interrupting negotiations and traffic.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
