CVE-2026-48116Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via ripgrep option injection

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

Command injection in Mintplex Labs AnythingLLM before 1.13.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through agent chat. The filesystem-search-files skill appends an LLM-controlled pattern to ripgrep without an end-of-options separator, letting --pre invoke /bin/sh on a written file. Exploitation requires agent access, agent mode, the filesystem plugin, and an LLM that follows both tool requests; code runs with the server container process's access.
