Unauthenticated code execution via builder YAML args
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Code injection in Google Agent Development Kit 1.7.0 through 1.28.0 and 2.0.0a1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary server code. The unauthenticated /builder/save endpoint accepts uploaded agent YAML whose args keys pass arbitrary arguments to Python constructors and functions. An exposed ADK Web builder is the required gate, and successful requests execute with the hosting ADK process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
