CVE-2026-48079Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Session persistence via premature cookie deletion

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Insufficient session expiration in OpenReception before 1.0.2 allows attackers with a copied token to retain authenticated API access. The /logout page load handler deletes the access_token cookie before its internal logout request, so authentication middleware rejects the request before SessionService.revokeSession() runs. Exploitation requires a previously copied token, which retains the original account's read and write permissions until the session expires, one week by default.
