CVE-2026-48048Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Unauthenticated password-hash disclosure via property-class confusion

Published Aug 10, 2026 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Information disclosure in XWiki Platform 6.2.1 and later affected releases allows remote attackers to recover user password salts and hashes. LiveTableResultsMacros checks a column against the initially selected XClass instead of its per-property class, so modified column and class parameters add a password field to the query and expose its bits. No authentication or user interaction is required, but full salt-and-hash recovery requires about 768 requests.
