Cross-connection data corruption and disclosure via mispositioned pointers
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in netty-incubator-codec-ohttp before 0.0.22.Final allows remote attackers to corrupt and read pooled buffers. The direct-ByteBuf fallback passes a JNI base address without adding the NIO buffer position, so native cryptography accesses memory outside the intended slice. Reachability requires an OHTTP gateway using pooled direct buffers with Unsafe unavailable; crafted requests can expose adjacent connections and corrupt their data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
