Access-token disclosure via unauthenticated MCP tool execution
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Improper authentication in Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP before 1.0.109 allows remote attackers to invoke MCP tools and disclose an access token. The AuthInjectionMiddleware.dispatch method forwards requests lacking both supported credentials, while api.py places the fallback operator token in a Graph API URL that the error path returns in the JSON-RPC body. Any caller that can reach the HTTP MCP endpoint can act through connected ad accounts and obtain the token when a tool call triggers a Graph API error.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
