Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Stored XSS in Treeverse lakeFS before 1.81.1 and lakeFS Enterprise before 1.84.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript. The Web UI Markdown processor permits raw HTML from repository objects and inserts the rendered result into the DOM without sanitization. Repository write access is required to plant a malicious .md or README.md object, and another authenticated user must open or browse to it.
