Administrator escalation via unprotected Sync API write
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
Missing authorization in Shopware before 6.6.10.18 and 6.7.0.0 through 6.7.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The Sync API sends the admin field through EntityWriter without the controller authorization check because IntegrationDefinition gives the field no WriteProtection flag. The attacker needs API access with integration:create ACL privilege; a successful write creates a persistent admin integration with broad data access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
