Open redirect in the Search Guard Kibana plugin through Search Guard FLX 4.0.1 allows remote attackers to send users to untrusted URLs. Specially crafted requests supply an untrusted redirect destination, but floragunn has not disclosed the affected route, parameter, or validation failure. No authentication is required, but a user must interact with the crafted request; the reported consequence is limited to redirection and confidentiality exposure.
