Code execution via out-of-bounds file parsing
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Audition 26.0 and earlier or 25.6.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not published the affected parser, file format, or boundary-checking error that causes the out-of-bounds write. A victim must open the crafted file; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code in the context of the current user on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
