Arbitrary code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Audition 26.0 and earlier and 25.6.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the boundary error that causes the write beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a local user to open the file, and resulting code runs in the context of that user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
