Sensitive memory disclosure via Doc object overread
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader 26.001.21651 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a crafted PDF. The Doc object handler fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file or visit a malicious page; the standalone impact is memory disclosure, while code execution requires chaining with another flaw.
