CVE-2026-47917

Code execution via invalid AcroForm object use

Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026

Use-after-free in Adobe Acrobat Reader 26.001.21651 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a malicious PDF. The AcroForm handler performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, permitting use after its release. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and successful code execution runs with that user's privileges.
