Authorization bypass via pre-flight header predicates
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Spring Framework WebFlux allows remote attackers to bypass header predicates using crafted pre-flight requests. The issue affects functional endpoint routing under DispatcherServlet, but Spring has not disclosed which predicate-evaluation operation mishandles the request. Exploitation requires a WebFlux functional endpoint deployed with DispatcherServlet; successful requests route past a configured header condition.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=5.2.5.RELEASE <=5.2.25.RELEASE
