CVE-2026-47887Network attack vector

Open redirect via request-derived view name

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Open redirect in affected Spring Framework MVC applications allows remote attackers to redirect users to external sites via crafted paths. UrlFilenameViewController converts the terminal request path into a logical view name; without a prefix, an attacker-controlled redirect value reaches redirect view resolution. Exposure requires an end-of-path mapping, no configured prefix, and user interaction; successful requests send users to an attacker-chosen site.
