Resource limit bypass in affected Spring Framework releases allows remote attackers to exceed configured multipart part-size limits. PartEventHttpMessageReader skips maxPartSize enforcement when maxInMemorySize is -1, so oversized request parts continue into the reactive event stream. Exposure requires a WebFlux controller with an @RequestBody Flux argument and the unlimited in-memory setting; published evidence establishes limit bypass but does not document a crash or data modification.
