Message redirection via unfiltered JMS properties
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Improper input validation in Spring Integration allows remote authenticated users to redirect handler output through crafted JMS properties. DefaultJmsHeaderMapper copies replyChannel, errorChannel, and json__TypeId__ user properties into MessageHeaders without excluding framework-reserved names. Access to publish to a consumed JMS destination is required; downstream resolvers treat attacker-selected channel names as bean references, enabling output or error-message redirection within the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=5.5.21
- Affected versionversion=6.4.0 <=6.4.12
- Affected versionversion=6.5.0 <=6.5.10
