CVE-2026-47864Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unfiltered Java deserialization

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026

Unsafe deserialization in Spring Integration allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted HTTP request bodies. SerializingHttpMessageConverter passes application/x-java-serialized-object bodies to a raw ObjectInputStream.readObject() call without class filtering. Exploitation requires an inbound HTTP endpoint configured with this converter and a usable deserialization gadget on the application classpath; the endpoint's authentication policy determines practical access.
