CVE-2026-47858Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unauthenticated JMX startup

Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026

JMX exposure in affected Spring Tools releases allows remote attackers to execute code in launched Spring Boot applications. Live information startup automatically adds JVM arguments that enable JMX access to Actuator endpoints without authenticating the critical management interface. A developer must start the application from Eclipse, VS Code, Cursor, or Theia with live information enabled; successful access grants control in the application's process context.
