CVE-2026-47829Network attack vector

Local command execution via injected OpenSSH options

Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Argument injection in BOSH CLI before 7.10.4 allows remote attackers controlling a BOSH Director to execute commands on an operator workstation. SSHArgs.LoginForHost placed the Director-supplied host before later OpenSSH options without a -- separator, so a leading-dash host was parsed as an option. Execution requires an operator to invoke a non-interactive SSH path, such as bosh ssh -c or bosh logs -f, against a compromised Director.
