Authenticated file read via unrestricted shortcode path
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Absolute path traversal in ThemeFusion Avada Builder 3.15.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The fusion_get_svg_from_file function treats the custom_svg value from the fusion_section_separator shortcode as a file path without restricting it to trusted SVG locations. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and exposed files can contain credentials or other sensitive server data; no write or execution impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
