CVE-2026-47773

Memory corruption via oversized encrypted ATT write

Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 11, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in ArduinoBLE before 2.0.2 allows remote attackers to corrupt device memory via a malformed Bluetooth ATT write request. The ATT write handler copies queued request data into ATTClass::writeBuffer without confirming that it fits the fixed 64-byte buffer. Reachability requires an unauthenticated BLE client and at least one characteristic configured with BLEEncryption; overwritten bytes reside in the global ATTClass object.
