Database disclosure via unsanitized supplier search
Published Mar 24, 2026 · Updated Mar 24, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through supplier search. The view_supplier.php handler fails to sanitize the POST searchtxt value before using it in a MySQL search query, enabling UNION-based, Boolean-blind, and time-based injection. A valid application session is required; successful UNION queries disclose supplier, transaction, credential, and other stored records.
