CVE-2026-47767Network attack vector

Unauthenticated environment changes via argv parsing mismatch

Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026

Interpretation conflict in Symfony Runtime allows remote attackers to change application environment and debug settings via unauthenticated GET requests. SymfonyRuntime checks empty($_GET) before parsing $_SERVER['argv'], although parse_str() can discard a token that the web SAPI retains as --env or --no-debug. Affected releases are 5.4.46 through 5.4.51, 6.4.14 through 6.4.39, 7.1.7 through 7.4.11, and 8.0.0-BETA1 through 8.0.11; exploitation requires register_argc_argv enabled and an application booted through Runtime.
