CVE-2026-47760Network attack vector

Cross-site scripting via nested SVG sanitizer bypass

Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026

Cross-site scripting in TinyMCE 6.8.0 through 7.0.x allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted nested SVG content. The sanitizer mishandles SVG namespace scope across nested elements, allowing unsafe attributes to survive filtering and execute as browser script. A low-privileged user must supply content that a victim processes, and successful exploitation exposes or alters data in the victim's browser context.
