Checkout disruption via unauthorized admin table actions
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Shopper before 2.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter payment, currency, and carrier settings. The PaymentMethods, Currencies, and Carriers admin tables expose toggle, record, and bulk actions without enforcing access_setting for each action. Any authenticated panel account can disable checkout dependencies or change the default currency, causing checkout interruption and pricing-integrity loss.
