Authenticated tampering, disclosure, and XSS via admin inputs
Published Jul 23, 2026 · Updated Jul 23, 2026
Authorization bypass, information exposure, and stored XSS in Shopper before 2.8.0 allow remote authenticated users to alter records. Unlocked Eloquent identifiers accept rewritten Livewire payload IDs, Customers/Create::store() returns a hidden plaintext password in snapshots, and raw barcode output renders stored input. Admin authentication reaches the ID-tampering and password-exposure paths; edit_products permission is required to plant a script that runs when an administrator views the product.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=< 2.8.0
