Authenticated product tampering via unguarded Livewire store methods
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Missing authorization in Shopper before 2.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter arbitrary product records via Livewire requests. The Edit, Inventory, Seo, Shipping, and Files components expose store() without checking edit_products and bind a client-controlled product ID without locking it. Any panel account can therefore rewrite pricing, stock, SEO metadata, shipping dimensions, or attached media for any product.
