Cross-tenant session control via unscoped result lookup
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Authorization bypass in Typebot before 3.17.0 allows remote authenticated users to control another bot's waiting webhook session. The handleExecuteWebhook handler authorizes typebotId and blockId but queries the descendant result by resultId alone, without binding it to that typebot. Read access to any typebot and a foreign live resultId are required; attacker-supplied webhook JSON then advances the victim session.
