Cross-tenant data access and modification via unscoped IDs
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Shelf before 1.20.2 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter other organizations' asset data. Affected endpoints pass user-supplied entity IDs to Prisma connect, read, and update operations without checking organization ownership. Exploitation requires a low-privilege account and a specific 25-character CUID from another workspace; it exposes bounded titles, names, and status and permits cross-tenant attachments.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
